ABOUT ME
My purpose is to leave things better than when I found them. I do this through people-focused operations, leading tangible outcomes and improvements in service of – and in collaboration with – others. I apply empathy, creativity and continuous improvement to all that I do. For the past 10+ years, I’ve done this through my work as part of the Global HR team at NIKE. In my most recent roles as Global HR Portfolio & Enablement Director, Chief of Staff, and currently as a Strategy Consultant, my focus has been on how to track and measure intended outcomes aligned to our People Strategy, while driving engagement and consistency in how programs are managed, communicated and delivered.
I attended Pitzer College, earning a degree in Sociology, French, and Studio Art. Post graduation, I taught English in France and then lived in Los Angeles where I ran my own handmade jewelry design company, ju-be. As a strong believer in the power of business for social good, I completed my MBA at Portland State University, with a focus on sustainable business, social enterprise and marketing. Highlights of my graduate studies included leading a team to place 3rd in a start-up competition, travelling to India for a consulting project with a TOMS One for One® partner, and co-authoring a book chapter on the topic of international social entrepreneurship.
I am an active member of ninety-nine girlfriends, and my past non-profit involvement includes serving in leadership positions with Levé, on the Oregon Environmental Council’s Emerging Leaders Board, Greater Than (formerly "I Have A Dream" Oregon’s) Young Leader's Collective, and passion project I ran from 2016-2019 Golden Lining: a pop-up shop for good.
I am a proud Portland native and when I’m not working or volunteering, I can be found enjoying local restaurants and getting in my daily 10k steps in NoPo with my two dogs, Heidi and Miles.
